I’m Brantley, the owner of storyline video in atlanta

I spent a lot of my life trying to figure out what I was good at and what I would love to do with my life. For the longest time, I seemed to be a jack of all trades and a master of none.

I had a call on my life to be a pastor, and well, it was a good season. I felt fulfilled overall and felt like I did what I was supposed to do. One day, I pray I get to hear Jesus say, “Well done, good and faithful servant.”

While I was pastoring, probably about 15 years or so ago, our church needed a video made and I said, “I can probably do it.”

I ran around the church with a cheap little point and shoot digital camera. The first video I made was terrible, but it was a start. After that video, I thought, “How can I make this better?” So, I started trying to maximize my abilities with that camera and learn all I could. With every video I made, I kept asking the question, “How can I make this better?” Slowly, over time, I got better equipment and started racking up various skills.

15 or so years later, I have stepped away from pastoring and I run my own business called Storyline Video as well as being the videographer for the Cherokee Sheriff’s Office. I named the business Storyline because the number one thing everyone that sees my work says is, “You are an incredible story teller!”

That’s what I do.

I tell your story through the videos I produce. I can’t wait to work with you and find out more about your story.

My Approach

Lighting is a big deal. Most people who don’t work with video or photography full-time, don’t realize the impact lighting has on the finished product and mood. It’s easier to feel the difference than to know why it does or doesn’t feel right. My expertise is knowing why and making it feel right. I work really well when I can stage my video shoots. I’m capable of doing highlight reels for company gatherings and events. However, I shine when I can stage the scenes.

honest about limits

One of the number one mistakes I see film-makers/videographers make is trying to do more than what they are actually capable of doing well. When we start brainstorming ideas, I will be 100% honest about if I am capable of delivering a high quality product on each idea. If I can’t, it won’t be awesome for you or me. I would rather do what we can do really well so we both walk away with an excellent product.

Christ-centered

I am open to filming a wide range of videos. However, I do follow Jesus and I want to glorify Him with the gift He has given me. Therefore, some videos or imagery I may not shoot if I feel like it would hinder my relationship with the King of kings.
